We have seen you shine in the field for a long time now, when you entered the industry what were your goals as a model?
My goals as a model were pretty much to pave the way and make a name for myself in that industry, to walk the runway back to back worldwide walk and work for the largest brands and designers and be on the covers of magazines.
Share with us the first-time experience when you became the showstopper?
Very exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time but far and foremost like a dream coming true and the adrenaline running through your body, I was exhausted at the end of the show but so satisfied and happy.
If not a model by profession, what would you have been?
Most probably a lawyer or a business strategist as I have completed my education in that field and have a specialization in the field of intermediation.
What does fashion mean to you and clothing brands you swear by?
I think fashion has become a part of the person that I am today and a part of my identity. I am in love with brands Elisabetta Franchi, Karen Millen, Kenzo, Moschino, Chanel, Zara as well from time to time, the huge Indian designers like Sabyasachi, TarunTahiliani, Anita Dongre and love the outfits of Falguni Shane Peacock.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
My biggest pet peeve is people who show up late for their appointments all the time. I am a disciplined person and find it a form of disrespect to the other person and a form of unprofessionalism if people show up late all the time.
What’s one body part you admire and one body part you wouldn’t mind losing?
I am happy and thankful for my body I work hard on my diet and fitness regimes, I am happy with my body shape, and am always working hard to maintain a healthy mind and body.
From looks to being such a hardworking person, you have it all. How can someone get your special attention?
Thank you so much for the nice words, I guess people can easily get my attention just by being their authentic selves, I don’t like pretentious people, you can win me with your sense of humor, spontaneity, and honesty.
Describe a ‘perfect date’ according to you?
My idea of a perfect date is far and foremost that both people feel comfortable in each other’s company so I guess it would be having dinner in a nice restaurant with amazing food, definitely long conversations, going to the movies or taking long drives and trips together.
You have been in the industry for over 10 years now, how has your experience been like so far?
It has been an amazing and crazy ride, I feel so blessed and thankful for the people that I get to know from the industry, the amazing friends that I have made for a lifetime during this journey, the skills that I have developed from being in this industry and the lessons that I have learned during these 10 years, I wouldn’t have been the person that I am today without being in this industry.
