App Attack: How To Build Your Own App

Apps have definitely made lives hassle free. Finding the solution to most of the problems at the click of a fingertip is a phenomenal development. From searching for a restaurant to finding a flat mate, apps help save a lot of time and energy. The usefulness of many apps is unknown until you actually use them.

You don’t need experience to make your own app

You cannot write a book without ever reading similarly you cannot build an app without using apps. So you should have tried a lot of apps yourself. Apart from that you need to know what works and what doesn't.

Write a diary of everything you do

Not sure if it makes any sense. But start writing all ideas and feedback and all action given to you by initial testers. Constantly try and think how the app can have better features, how to create it in a way so that it will help more and more people find a way.

Work out your design

When thinking about the design you have to look at the basic human behavior on how would people interact with that particular problem offline as in without the app. Once you know that it's really important to figure out how people would use your app and how their life would become easier with your app. Once these questions are answered designing becomes a piece a cake. Its simplicity is that it is difficult to built. The design should become a part of people’s habit.

Test your idea on 500 people

I think testing an idea on people is necessary since it validates your ideas. Build a basic version of app to test it out. It is like getting the first set of feedback on how you have performed. On the basis of people’s views, you can work on the app to make it more user friendly and helpful.
