Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone spoke extensively about their relationship and how it led to marriage in the opening episode of Koffee with Karan Season 8. The actress discussed how she did not want to become attached after ending challenging relationships and how, in theory, she and Ranveer might all be permitted to see other people.

Since then, a lot of people have left lengthy comments on the internet over Deepika’s admission that she saw “other people” or “having an open relationship” while still dating Ranveer. As soon as the clip went viral, netizens started trolling the actress over her comment and allegedly called her ‘Red Flag’.

Now, after lots of trolling and commenting by trolls for Padukone, actor and comedian Vir Das came in support of Padukone and made a statement on ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter). Vir captioned, “Moment of silence for all the men who are upset that a Bollywood star way out of their league was casually dating for a while and wasn’t being as devoted to them as their make-believe girlfriend.”

Apart from the controversial statements, DP and Ranveer Singh have also released their dreamy wedding video on the show after 5 years of their marriage, which looks surreal and royal. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got married in November 2018 at Lake Como, Italy, in the presence of their family and friends.

Following the success of Koffee with Karan season 8, Karan Johar hinted at something in his most recent Friday afternoon Instagram Live. Karan revealed that there will be siblings in the upcoming episode during their brief live video interaction. By teasing his followers, he said, the new episode of KWK will feature a pair of siblings who are very near and dear to him in both his personal and professional lives.
