Where Movement Meets The Moment, It Forms A Frame. To Capture Your Each Frame In A Cinematic Way, We’ve Got You Some Of The Best Cameras For Film Photography. Dive Right In And Find Out!

Lights, Your Camera, Action!

Film photography throws it back to the dawn of photography as a genre and brings out feelings of nostalgia and moments stuck in time. It also allows photographers to discover the base of the visual world that photography creates. The aesthetic trend of light leaks, blown-out color, grainy images, and white borders come together to bring that feeling of longing or melancholy back to a certain time when shooting a photograph was an exciting and rare activity.

Using film photography, it gives you a tangible physical object after your shoot which brings back that special feeling - though many film developers can also give you your images in digital form. And, the film is certainly not a new trend, it is a well-researched and not forgotten past. So, without any further ado, help yourself with the best film photography cameras!

Canon EOS C200

Canon EOS C200

The EOS C200 Digital Cinema Camera is a “ready-to-go” production camera that comes with a built-in electronic viewfinder and an array of accessories including a 4-inch touch screen LCD monitor, a versatile handle and ergonomic handgrip. The camera features a menu for tuning AF speed and subject tracking characteristics, as well as a new "AF-Boosted MF" mode which ensures a reduced chance of inadvertent "focus-hunting" movements. In line with the needs of filmmakers, the fine-tuning of focusing operations is also possible. The camera supports the Browser Remote function, which allows remote camera settings control with a web browser enabled tablet via a Wi-Fi connection, enabling it to carry out precise focusing through touch operation when using a crane or drone.

The cinematic look and feel is rapidly becoming the norm in broadcasting and live production as it opens up new ways to tell a narrative.

Face Detection AF and Continuous AF are also possible. In 4K large sensor-based image acquisition where ensuring tack-sharp focus may not be a simple task for a single-operator, the support for touch panel AF operation is a powerful benefit, enabling easier single-operator focusing. As this format allows colour grading not depending on specific output devices or the latest trends, it is a powerful tool for creating HDR footage. UHD footage can be recorded onto an SD card using the versatile MP4 format. Two SD card slots provide brilliant support for recording over long durations.

Nikon MIRRORLESS Z 30

One can capture higher quality video with the Z 30 thanks to its sensor that is 14x bigger than your phone's. This camera is available as a body only or with a couple of lens options. With 20.9-megapixel image sensor with 4k recording capabilities and an 11fps continuous shooting speed, delivering quality photo and video performance. And one of the things that is absolutely great about this camera is that it works with Nikon’s entire range of Z-mount lenses.

It can also be presumed the “pocket” camera is also targeted as a replacement for the discontinued consumer DSLR cameras from the D3500 and D5600 series lineups. No matter what market the camera is aimed at, there’s no denying the little system is actually pretty dang useful and packs an impressive punch. What makes this camera truly stand apart from its other APS-C siblings is its ability to record over two hours (approx. 125 minutes) of 1080p footage in a single file whereas the Z50 and Zfc cap off at about 30 minutes (4K can record for about 35 minutes). Also, like the Zfc, the SD memory card slot is housed in the same area as the battery which is accessed from the bottom of the camera.

Leica Q3

Leica Q3

Leica’s name has become well-known among smartphone enthusiast’s circles for its involvement with brands like Huawei and Xiaomi. However, the brand goes beyond it as a global manufacturer of high-end cameras and lenses, as well as fine-tuned mechanical instruments and other high-tech devices for imaging. If you’re a photography enthusiast, the company has a wide portfolio of professional cameras for the best imaging experience. Now, they have introduced the latest addition to the lineup – the Leica Q3 – which features 8K video-recording capabilities and more.

The Leica Q3 continues to impress with its seamless and fast connectivity via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The camera is equipped with advanced Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) technology, which has increased the transfer speed to the Leica FOTOS app by up to 10 times compared to the previous model, taking mobile creative workflow to the next level. With a stable connection and high data transfer rates to the Leica FOTOS app, videos can now be loaded from the camera to a smartphone, or special ‘Leica Looks’ can be imported onto the camera for beautiful JPEG images.

Sony ILME-FR7

The Sony FR7 is the world's first pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) camera to combine a full-frame image sensor, an interchangeable lens design, and remote shooting functionality.

At a basic level, the FR7 is a redesigned FX6 modified into a PTZ design. However, that's a bit of an oversimplification. Using Sony's experience with actuator design, the FR7 promises precise control over its movement. Pan and tilt speed is continuously variable from 0.02 to 60 degrees per second and supports a wide range of stable, smooth motion.

Powered by the BIONZ XR engine, the Sony FR7 includes Fast Hybrid AF, Real-time Eye AF and Real-time Tracking. The camera promises accurate eye-detect autofocus, even when subjects are at steep angles. You can use touch focusing via the compatible web app. Autofocus performance is critical for a camera like the FR7, which will often be controlled remotely and be used to record and stream programming like reality television and live events. The FR7 includes a built-in electronic variable ND filter and Auto ND function to ensure the best quality in changing light conditions.
