NBA 2K15
Finally a game that'll take you as close to basketball as you are ever going to get without stepping on to a court.

If you think last year’s iteration of this series was good, then you ought to try this one. Not that there is a change in the gameplay – how could there be one in a sports title like this, but its reached a level that can be tagged more than just a subtle change.
This year, the graphics will make your eyes pop, your jaws drop and give you goose bumps that’ll literally leave your hair stand at full attention. At first glance, the game doesn’t look drastically different to the naked eye. It’s the attention to details, from dunking the ball past three defenders to the far-fetched three-pointer, the graphics will make you feel like you're watching an all-star game. This year, the players have been deployed with more visible weight – no, they aren’t plump, they just feel more life-like, rather than computer generated graphic duds. This has changed the dynamics of the game, and taking a cue from the real world, no single fast player is enough to hold down your blazing lay-up. The game is more about team play. It wouldn't matter if you’ve got Lebron and Dwayne stacked up on one side. You’d need both these offensive players, back in the zone, standing neck and neck with that defensive line. Amid all the upgradation of the graphic motor, the developers have comfortably omitted the tutorial option – only to let you learn step-by-step moves on court! A shot meter has been added below each player, that more than offsetting your release of the ball, is found distracting you during the game, and at times losing the ball to the defenders. From the hits and misses this title has earned, the MyCareer mode tops the charts with the miss! It loses out with an array of bummers – from getting your picture being scanned into an Avatar, to being drafted into the league team. This mode is rather aggravating and pestering of sorts. Even the online mode seems to be a letdown. From losing saves, to getting on to the server – online mode is simply not for you. Ditch the online mode for offline, and voila you’ll fall in love with the game again.

With more misses, than converts this year, this title will be turned down by newbies, while it will still manage to please the loyalists!
