01 tees/Polos: American Swan

Read FHM India in the digital libraryEvery issue, every shoot, on TCG Media.

You can never have enough tees in one’s wardrobe and at American Swan, we believe in offering tees and polos in great styles. I have a huge collection of polos, but I personally prefer the cruise polos in stripes and solid coloured polos in softer hues. These t-shirts have a precisely cut sleeve that fits around the arm perfectly and ribbing at the neck that's just the right width. ₹1,199

02 Watch: Tissot

These watches are unbeatable when it comes to perfection in design and precision in functionality. This timekeeper is one accessory I truly treasure. The subtle design and reliability has made this watch quite a wrist regular for me. The chronograph movement is visible through its see-through case and is proof of the watchmakers’ commitment to mechanical excellence. ₹35,000

03 Belt: Fossil

I bought my Fossil belt not thinking much about how versatile it could be, but it totally surprised me by being that one belt that never fails to stand out whether I wear it with classic denims or well tailored trousers. This perfect leather belt has been around for quite some time now and I do use it more than just occasionally ₹2,500

04 Footwear: Paul Smith

This brand offers a great range of stylish and vibrant shoes. The designs are sleek and multifunctional. They can be styled with both semi-casuals and formals. They are now easily available in India and hence, is my current go-to brand for comfortable and classically colorful shoes. These brown pair of brogues is my favorite possession from the collection I have acquired. ₹33,000

05 Sunglasses: Ray Ban Aviators

Although I don’t sport sunglasses on a daily basis, for extensive outdoor activities, I rely on my classic Ray Ban Aviators. A great way to beat the heat, the modish frame sets it apart from the usual and it’s great vintage design makes it my favorite purchase. The reflective lenses not only protect my eyeballs from harmful sun rays, but the thin metal frames have almost attained the cult status.. ₹9,000

06 Shirt: Ralph Lauren

The lightweight cotton shirts from this brand would be my absolute favourite pick when it comes to classic shirts. I love the colour palette the brand offers, as it goes totally well with light blazers and look equally appealing when worn for a more formal occasion. ₹8,000

07 Jeans/ Trousers: GANT

Pants from GANT and a classic cotton shirt is my staple work wear look. These extremely light jeans and trousers work well for office as well as for weekend activities and the cargos make a good buy too. These cannot go out of style. ₹10,000

08 Blazers/ Jacket: Jack Wills

This amazing British brand never fails to surprise me with its range of blazers and jackets. The Belgrave blazer is not only light to carry, but a stylish pin stripes jacket seldom goes wrong. These blazers can double up for any occasion. ₹11,000

09 Duffle BAG: Il Bisonte

I get to travel a bit, and these trips are mostly of short durations. Hence, I like this duffle bag as it lightweight and sturdy. The leather is of prime quality, which makes this bag an all-weather companion. The camel colour makes a great fashion statement. ₹38,000

10 WALLET: Burberry

The two tone wallet is classic British style statement. Lightweight, slim, and simple — it keeps the details minimal, and comes with an embossed logo — allowing on the leather to take center stage. ₹20,000

The CV

Personal Style

My style is sophisticated casual wear – it always revolves around the fabric and is not style or trend driven. My focus is on wearing what is comfortable and something that lends class to my look without being too loud in design and colour. A majority of what I wear is cotton and other natural fibres from the finest yarns, which works perfectly well for the season.

Style Prediction for the season

Nautical styles have always been in fashion and with the holiday season burgeoning, we are definitely going to see more of it. Classic stripes, anchor prints or just the combination of blue and white are enough to lend freshness to one’s attire. Another trend that is going up the fashion ladder of popularity is the military trend – only this time, it is more chic and more detailed rather than rugged.
