Hyundai IONIQ 5 N

The 2024 Hyundai IONIQ 5 N is equipped with dual motors, delivering a whopping 641 horsepower and 545 lb-ft of torque. This power allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in around 3 seconds. The vehicle also features an 84-kWh battery pack, which provides ample range and supports high-speed driving without significant thermal issues. The enhanced cooling system ensures that the car can handle extended periods of high performance, such as multiple laps on a track.
The exterior of the IONIQ 5 N sits lower, wider, and longer than the standard IONIQ 5, with a distinctive rear diffuser and 21-inch forged aluminium wheels. The car's aerodynamic features, including a chin spoiler and active air flaps, enhance its performance and efficiency. The 2024 Citroën Basalt is a fresh entrant in the SUV coupe segment, bringing a unique blend of French flair and practicality to the market. Its bold lines and sleek profile give it a strong road presence, though the design might polarize opinions. The car's aesthetics are complemented by stylish LED headlights and a prominent grille, making it a head-turner on the road.

The Basalt comes equipped with a 10.2-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, and connected car tech. Safety features include six airbags, ESP, hill-hold, TPMS, and ISOFIX.
Tata Curvv.ev

The 2024 Tata Curvv.ev is an exciting addition to the electric vehicle market, offering a blend of futuristic design, impressive performance, and a host of features. It stands out with its coupe SUV styling, which is both unique and eye-catching. The sleek lines and aerodynamic profile give it a modern look, while the LED light bar and flush door handles add to its futuristic appeal.
Inside, the Curvv.ev boasts a spacious and premium cabin. The large touchscreen display and high-quality materials, however, the rear seat comfort for taller passengers could be better due to the high floor and limited headroom.
Equipped with a 165 BHP motor, the Curvv.ev delivers smooth and instant torque, making city driving a breeze. It offers a real-world range of around 400 km, which is sufficient for both city and highway driving. The high-speed stability and sorted road manners further add to its appeal.
The Curvv.ev is loaded with features, including a 9-speaker JBL audio system, panoramic sunroof, and level 2 ADAS. It also comes with a range of safety tech like 6 airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, and a 360-degree view camera. However, some features like telescopic adjustment for the steering wheel and rear sunshade are missing.
Toyota Rumion

The 2024 Toyota Rumion is essentially a rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, featuring minor styling tweaks to distinguish it. The front grille and bumper have been redesigned to give it a more distinct Toyota look.
Inside, the Rumion offers a spacious cabin with three rows of seating, accommodating up to seven passengers comfortably. The interior materials are of decent quality, and the layout is user-friendly with third row best suited for children or shorter adults due to limited legroom. Under the hood, the Rumion is powered by a 1.5-liter petrol engine, which delivers adequate power for city driving and occasional highway trips. The engine is paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission.
Equipped with a range of features, including a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, and keyless entry. Safety features include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors. Higher trims offer additional features like a reverse camera and more advanced safety systems. One of the highlights of the Rumion is its fuel efficiency. Isuzu D-MAX V-Cross
The 2024 Isuzu D-MAX V-Cross sports a refreshed exterior with a more aggressive front fascia, including a new grille design and integrated front indicators within the headlight assembly. The leather seats, automatic gearbox, and heated seats provide a touch of luxury, while the ample legroom and storage options ensure practicality.
Under the hood, the D-MAX V-Cross is powered by a 3.0L turbo diesel engine, delivering robust performance both on and off the road. The new Rough Terrain mode, combined with the rear differential lock, maximizes traction and off-road capability. The handling is improved with revised suspension and steering, although some noted that the ride can still be a bit stiff.
Safety is a key focus for the 2024 model, with features like adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, and a revised reversing camera. The new stereo camera and updated tyre pressure monitoring system further enhance safety and convenience.
Maruti Suzuki Jimny

The 2024 Maruti Suzuki Jimny retains its iconic boxy design, which is both charming and functional. The new five-door variant, known as the Jimny XL, adds more practicality without compromising its compact footprint. The extra doors make it easier for passengers to access the rear seats, and the extended wheelbase provides more interior space.
Inside, the Jimny materials are durable, and the layout is driver-focused. The five-door model enhances comfort with more legroom for rear passengers. Modern features like a larger media screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, adaptive cruise control, and parking sensors add to the convenience.
Under the hood, the Jimny is powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 75 kW and 130 Nm of torque, making its performance is adequate for both city driving and off-road adventures.
On the road, the Jimny's handling is predictable, though its high centre of gravity and boxy shape mean it's not the most agile vehicle. Off-road, however, it shines, tackling rough terrain with ease. The five-door model's added weight does make it slightly slower, but it still retains the adventurous spirit of the original.
Additionally, this 2024 Jimny comes equipped with several modern features, including a larger infotainment screen, wireless connectivity options, and advanced driver-assist systems.
Mahindra Thar ROXX

The 2024 Mahindra Thar ROXX stands out with its 5-door configuration, making it more practical for families and those needing extra space. It features a new 6-slat body-coloured grille, LED headlights with C-shaped DRLs, and a redesigned bumper. The increased dimensions (4428 mm in length, 1870 mm in width, and 1923 mm in height) give it a more commanding presence on the road.
Inside, the Thar ROXX offers a more refined cabin compared to its 3-door sibling. It boasts a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital driver’s display, and soft-touch materials on the dashboard. The beige-coloured upholstery adds a touch of elegance, and the panoramic sunroof enhances the overall driving experience.
The Thar ROXX is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. It retains the robust off-road capabilities that the Thar is known for, including features like hill descent control, electronic stability control, and a 360-degree camera for better manoeuvrability in tough terrains.
Safety is a priority with the Thar ROXX, which comes equipped with 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and ADAS Level-2 features. These additions make it a safer choice for both city driving and off-road adventures. Thus, 2024 Mahindra Thar ROXX is a well-rounded SUV that combines the ruggedness of an off-roader with the comfort and features of a modern vehicle.
