Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai consists of a Cult Classic sitcom on Indian Television. 

 

 

Before Anupama, if there was any show which gave instant fame to Rupali Ganguly then it was ‘Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai’.  An Indian sitcom called Sarabhai vs Sarabhai aired for two seasons on Hotstar from May 15 to July 17, 2017, and on Star One from November 1, 2004, to April 16, 2006.

The main focus of the program was the stereotypical upper-class family residing in South Mumbai’s Affluent Cuffe Parade district.

This show has an ensemble cast of Rupali Ganguly, Ratna Pathak Shah, Satish Shah, Sumeet Raghavan, and Rajesh Kumar. The show went on to become a cult classic and was regarded as being ahead of its time in terms of its premise, writing, and average viewership figures at the time of its initial release. After the success of the show in India, it was also officially adopted in Pakistan as ‘Chana Jor Garam’.

This is the show which invented Vlogging initially, and still, whenever people talk about making videos, they surely remember this show. This show was an adaptation of the English Sitcom, ‘Good Luck Charlie’.

One of the most successful sitcoms on SAB TV, Lapataganj was first released on October 2009 and lasted up to August 2014. The whole show was based on Sharad Joshi’s Novel of the same name ‘Lapataganj’.

The show was written and produced by Ashwini Dhir starring Rohitash Gaud, Vineet Kumar, Preeti Amin, Sucheta, and Subhangi Gokhale. The show has also won several awards while running on television that includes Indian Television Academy Awards, Zee Gold Awards, and Indian Television Awards.
