Time to Move Over Instagram!
Before we got accustomed to Instagram’s super savvy social photo service, Facebook bought it. And now it has bombed.

CupChair
Always had a problem for getting that perfect 360 degree view of an object? Well, here is CupChair, an easy to use, with simple aesthetics and fantastic utility. Cupchair lets you you take 360-degree photos with just an iphone and a cup or maybe a mug, you can settle for whatever gives you a great pic.

If you’re trying to sell something online, panoramic project images are a great way to make customers feel confident about they’re buying. Those images are a pain to make, but this CupChair app by RotaryView streamlines the process, almost effortlessly. All you need to do is place your iPhone in a cup (which in this case is just a stand) and point it at the thing you want a 360 degree shot of. From there, the app does a lot of the work itself, like making sure nothing in the background is moving. It even takes the pictures itself, all you have to do is slowly turn the product and move your hand out of the way. Perhaps the biggest benefit however, is that after that's done, the app will automatically generate the 360 image, processing the shots itself, and then provide an embed code.

Pixlromatic
Divided into three categories, those effects include (basically) colour, lighting and frames this photo editing app gives you the luxury to nicely finish your favourite pic. When it comes down to editing the pictures, this app leaves us with one word ‘Magic’. ou have several tabs to apply different styles of effect. Within each section there's a run of styles to apply and you're free to move back and forth through the selection and pick the style you want. The second section contains some more extreme effects, adding things like light leaks, lens flare or aging to your images. Finally the frames give you a selection from the formal to the dirty, to finish things off perfectly. There is also a "shuffle" button to take a completely random selection of effects and apply them to your photo. So if you want a quick result, you might find it works a treat. Once the image is saved, you'll get the normal list so you can fire it to Facebook, Twitter, Gmail or wherever, or to its own imm.io site.

DMD Panorama
DMD Panorama is a slick and well-presented panoramic camera application for Android/iOS. Featuring a cool ying/yang sign as a clever means to line up your shots correctly, the app is both intuitive and simple to use. While there are few panorama apps available in the marketplace, one element that sets DMD Panorama apart is the clever inclusion of the ying/yang sign. This icon is in two parts and discreetly overlays the images as you take them. The key to a successful panoramic shot is to line these up to complete the sign, which in turn makes the small light go green. Because the app takes pictures automatically when the icons are aligned (and you cannot shoot yourself) I don’t think the app was able to be as careful as a user might be with more control.

You can use this app with every photo you take. Create surrealist landscapes with light from multiple directions, moons (in all stages of waning and waxing), fairy dust and even lightning bolts. Color Splash
This app lets you take cool, arty shots by isolating the color in a selected area of the photo and desaturating everything else. It's intuitive — use your finger to add or subtract color from the photo, or to zoom in and out to achieve the sharpest edge between color and monochrome. And easily correct mistakes without having to trash the photo completely.

PicStitch
Looking to combine pictures into one portrait or add frames to an Instagram shot? Pic Stitch does both. Choose from 32 different layouts and nine different photo aspect ratios. Also apply rounded corners, patterns, shadows, and numerous other photo customizations to give your photos some flavor. Additionally, you can open your creation up in a different app like Dropbox or Air Sharing to upload or store. Sharing with Pic Stitch was simple and reliable. Overall, we highly recommend Pic Stitch for editing and framing your photography. It is simple, intuitive, and feature-packed. The outdated interface graphics seemed to be a bummer to us.

Camera+:
If you’re looking for a little bit of everything you need in an editing app, Camera+ should be your first stop. You can take photos directly from the app, and it hosts such a broad range of features that you may only need one stop to this app for your desired touched-up photo. It has great lighting features that adjust the light in your photo depending on what you’re going for. The filters presented by Camera+ are pretty basic, but very nice and give you a good variety to choose from. There are some borders to choose from and a nice vignette effect that functions a lot better than other apps’ interpretation of this feature, as well as an option to add text. It’s a powerful, little app with quite a bit to offer.
