Tell us something about your Bollywood debut film, Kashi. How was the experience like?
Kashi is a story of a person in search of his sister. The main character is played by Sharman Joshi. I play a journalist from Lucknow, who is the main character’s love interest. We shot in Banaras for around 45 days and I enjoyed the experience. I relished the chance of playing a strong character in Kashi as I have not played any strong characters in South Indian films. It was great to work with Sharman Joshi as he was very supportive.
