Why average is good!
VivoBook Max X541 is the new budget laptop from the house of Asus and when we say average is good, we mean that you don’t have to compromise on the specs or the performance!

When we look to buy a laptop that fits our budget, the two thing we look for are the design and how easy it is to tag around. The other things are for the gamers and people who need to work on daily basis. Asus claims that the 541X is performance oriented and we would like to agree on that.
The 7th Generation i3-7100 CPU clocking at 2.4GHz works fine when working on basic Photoshop editing and watching 4K videos. To assist this performance, there is 4GB DDR4 SD RAM and 1TB storage available. There is an Intel HD graphics 620 that performs its duty for all the graphic needs.
Talking about the looks, this mid-range notebook has been given enough attention on style and design in order to make it stand out. The lid has a black, brushed metal finish while the interior is a nice golden brushed metal. Above the keyboard, there are dual speakers with machine-drilled holes that further enhances the overall looks. Asus has also paid attention to the audio system as well. The 3W speakers with 24cc sound chamber delivers rich and distinct vocals.
Detailing has also been done for the users as the Asus Eye Care has been installed to protect from dangerous blue light rays. The 15.6 inch display has full HD screen and it’s fantastic. The wide-angle view, great brightness and the anti-glare coating just add to its goodness. The only problem is the feeble display lid that might crack under additional strength.
There are some downsides as well! The laptops keyboard quality and the underside plastic seem to be built on average quality. The battery life too is a concern as the full charge lasts just about 4 hours when viewing movies or playing games. May be, Asus could have done something on this front.
Verdict
Overall, this laptop impresses with its performance and features. Just compromise a little on the build quality and battery and you will not find any laptop in the price range with similar specs. At 31,999, it surpasses every minor problem that you could think of. So, got for it if you need a budget laptop!
