Work It Out
Are long working hours not letting you work out? We bring you bytes from people who somehow manage to keep a healthy work-life equilibrium.

Krishna Das, 21, Student and Theatre Artist, New Delhi

Being a professional theatre artist, I have to keep my body fit and flexible. I do a lot of cardio and martial arts, which include body weight exercises and stretching. Despite having a busy schedule, I always make sure that I get at least 45 minutes to train myself for which I prefer to get up early in the morning to workout before my other activities.
Abhishek Bose, 26, Media Professional, New Delhi
Since extended working hours don’t give me a chance to keep a check on my fitness, I walk to my office, which is 15 minutes away. Also, for my diet, I eat basic homecooked food and have at least four eggs a day to ensure that I am consuming enough protein.

Anubhav Bhatia, 23, Content Writer, Faridabad

I usually go to the gym before or after my working hours. I focus on intensive body-building workouts, which ensure that there is no muscle loss and a few other exercises to lose fat. During my long working hours, I take short breaks every 30-40 minutes. I also try to take time out to get out of the office twice or thrice during the day for some fresh air.
Amit Jha, 23, Journalist, New Delhi

Being fit for me is really important. My profession always keeps me occupied. Before leaving for the office, I always try to take time out for my workouts, which include push ups and weight lifting. It has become a routine now to start my day with a proper workout session. In addition, I ensure that I keep myself hydrated.
