Ayushmann Khurrana Is Back As Pooja With Dream Girl 2

This one is the sequel to the 2019 comedic smash Dream Girl by Raaj Shaandilyaa. Ananya Panday and Ayushmann Khurrana to play key roles in the sequel.

The trailer of Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl 2 is finally out and it goes without saying that fans are going gaga over it. The makers of the film have dropped the trailer recently and just like you, we’re anticipating the release. Featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Pandey along with a supporting cast of Rajpal Yadav, Annu Kapoor, Asrani, Vijay Raaz, and Paresh Rawal is all set to make way to your hearts, once again.

The teaser kicks off with Ayushmann, better known by her stage name Pooja, returning to her old tricks of deceiving men with her oh-so-sweet voice. Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday’s developing romance is also hinted at. As can be imagined, Ayushmann’s situation is not ideal as he struggles to find a steady job and make enough money to win his love back. The sole option? Being Pooja in all of her splendour. As expected, Ayushmann Khurrana does a fantastic job as Pooja up till he attracts Abhishek Banerjee’s attention. What follows in the rest of the teaser is how Ayushmann’s Pooja will handle her new admirer.

This was a clear teaser for the audience that Pooja (played by Ayushmann Khurrana) is coming back with a bang. He was applying lipstick while gazing in the mirror at his true self. The July release of Dream Girl 2 had previously been planned. But as of right now, it opens in theatres on August 25. The film’s heavy VFX requirements, according to the creators, were the cause of the delay.
