Sonam Kapoor made its comeback to the silver screen after 4 years of gap. Her upcoming movie “Blind” teaser is out now.
Actress Sonam Kapoor Ahuja will be seen on the big screen after 4 years with the crime thriller movie “Blind”. Sonam took a break from films when she move to London with her Husband Anand Ahuja in 2019, when the first wave of Covid-19 hit India. On March 2022, Sonam announced her pregnancy by posting a picture with her husband Anand Ahuja. In the photos, The actress was flaunts her baby bump. Later on August 2022, she gave birth to a baby boy – named Vayu Kapoor Ahuja.
This movie is produced by Avishek Ghosh, Hyunwoo Thomas, Sujoy Ghosh, Pinkesh Nahar, Sachin Nahar, and Manish W and helmed by Shome Makhija. With this movie she also marked her OTT debut. The official teaser of Blind movie is out on June 27 on youtube. The film will be streaming on Jio Cinema on July 7.
The movie also stars Purab Kohli, Lillete Dubey, and Vinay Pathak in pivotal roles. The “Blind” movie has an interesting plot, of which we got a glimpse in the teaser. The teaser starts with Sonam Kapoor who is playing the role of Visually-impaired person. She was seen taking a taxi which is being driven by Purab Kohli, who is playing the role of the murderer. During her ride, Purab asks her if she is tired and offers her water. Soon after, she heard a voice in the car’s trunk.
The teaser, also shows that UK police have been on a search for a man who kidnapped and killed several women. And Sonam helped them to find that man and solved the mystery behind the murder. In the end, it was seen that Purab Kohli giving warning Sonam Kapoor to stay away from the case and don’t try to unfold the truth or he will fill her life with darkness. On this warning, she said she already living a dark life and she’ll put an end to this. She looked ferocious in the teaser.
As soon as Jio Studios dropped the teaser of Blind the audience can’t control their excitement and loved the teaser. One of the users commented, “Sonam really killed it.” another user wrote, “She really shines in the teaser.” Her fans’ excitement level is very high for this movie.
Fashion Icon Sonam Kapoor Ahuja was last seen in Abhishek Sharma’s The Zoya Factor opposite Dulquer Salmaan in 2019. She also made a short appearance in Vikramaditya Motwane’s “AK Vs AK”, which premiered on Netflix in December 2020. Recently, Sonam is also invited to United Kingdom’s PM Rishi Sunak’s reception at India-UK week. Which will take place at UK’s Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s residence. The event will be held from 26 June to 30 June in London. The actress will be joining the event on Wednesday and will talk about India’s cultural influence across the globe.
