Blockbusters This Month
Besides the new Bond flick Skyfall, here are other big films that will keep you entertained through November.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2

The last edition of the blood-sucking vampire saga is all set for a final showdown…
Finally, the day is about to come, when we will happily bid adieu to the Twilight saga. The last installment is set to release this month amidst all the hoopla surrounding the lead stars real-life break-up and cheating scandal. Director Bill Condon’s film based on the last book of the series – Breaking Dawn, takes the story forward after Bella gives birth to her half-vampire, half-human daughter Renesmee.

Bella and her newborn are enjoying life along with the Cullens, but are soon threatened by Irina, who thinks Renesmee’s existence can challenge the power of the Volturi, which means it must be destroyed. While Irina together with the Volturi are planning a war, the Cullens with some newfound and old allies are preparing to fight a crucial battle to save their family.
The ensemble cast including Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Nikki Reed, Dakota Fanning and Ashley Greene all reprise their roles again along with some hot new additions who are worth catching this film for. Book your tickets in secret if you dare. Oh and writer Melissa Rosenberg has also added twists to the onscreen adaptation, so look out for that.
No matter how much we hate this film, we know it’ll be a hit thanks to the swooning women when it releases on November 16, 2012
Talaash: The Answer Lies Within

Will Aamir add another feather in his cap with Talaash? We are waiting eagerly to find out…

Reema Kagti’s upcoming thriller has been a hot topic of discussion for more than an year. From the debate on its cast to the shooting schedule to the release date – it has been under the radar since the beginning. At last, it’s out this month with a lot of expectations, considering it has Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukerji as the leads.
The story revolves around a cop, a housewife and a prostitute who get entangled in a mystery that will change their lives forever. Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Shernaz Patel and Raj Kumar Yadav also play pivotal roles.
From the trailers, Talaash seems to feature umpteen plots running the gamut of drama, romance and suspense. Complementing the story is Ram Sampath’s soundtrack, which seems apt for the various situations of the film.
Talaash hits theatres on November 30, 2012.
Son of Sardaar

We don’t know why it’s called SOS, but we know that it’s loaded with done-to-death comedy.

Just like other recent comic capers, senseless one-liners and jarring music toplines the narrative of Son of Sardaar. A remake of the Telegu film Maryada Ramanna, SOS is a lighthearted romantic-comedy starring Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Juhi Chawla and Sonakshi Sinha. Just fyi, the Telugu film was a remake of an American silent movie, Our Hospitality that released in 1923.
The story revolves around Ajay Devgn who returns to his parents’ village, but soon gets involved in a family feud that is led by Sanjay Dutt. While the run-of-the-mill story is nothing to write home about, it’s creating a buzz in the media thanks to its star cast. Also, the trailers show a cameo by Salman Khan, which for us appears to be the only saving grace. What’s more, Himesh Reshammiya’s music is too loud and if given a choice, we would like to completely erase it from the film.
Devgn’s film competes with SRK’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan on the silver screen and since both actors share cold vibes, it’s going to be one hell of a fight.
The film is out on November 13, 2012.
Jab Tak Hai Jaan
Drama, romance, two leggy-babes and SRK’s grungy look are enough to make this a winner. We’ll bet on this one any day over 007!

SRK’s next is the most awaited movie of this month, and for good reason. Not only does it star the superstar in a lead along with Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, but it’s also the last film by legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra, completed before his recent death.
True to style, the late Chopra has aesthetically packaged the film with romance, drama and a plethora of twists and turns. Apart from the storyline, JTHJ’s music has been garnering praise. Gulzar’s lyrics coupled with A R Rahman’s melodious tunes takes the film to a completely new level. The title track, Challa and the popular Saans are considered the best from the album.
The story follows Samar (SRK) who in order to forget his traumatic past joins the army in where he becomes friends with Muskaan (Anushka Sharma) – a wildlife channel anchor. While has made peace with his present, it’s his past, which includes Khushi (Katrina Kaif) that keeps haunting him. What’s happened to Khushi? Will Muskaan ever get her love? And why is running away from his life? The answers of these questions form the crux of the film.
SRK’s first-time pairing with Katrina in Yash Chopra’s last film will make this one a sure-shot winner.
Jab Tak Hai Jaan releases along with SOS on November 13, 2012.
