Bollywood movies for centuries have made their impact through films such as Jab We Met, Piku, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, Kal Ho Naa Ho and others. Bollywood has made its character quite popular and though we find some Bollywood characters immortal such as gabbar, bunny, Rahul and others. These Bollywood characters are the ones who got misunderstood and hate for their dumb characters.

Though Bollywood characters are filmy and dreamy with their approach to life, they have been represented as charismatic, innocent characters who are dearly loved. But today we will highlight the most hated and trolled female characters, stay tune to be surprised.

•  Preeti (Kabir Singh)

We all remember the toxic Bollywood movie ‘Kabir Singh’. This movie surely gave a true perception of a toxic partner through Kabir but believe it or not it was a romantic movie. Nothing really pisses off the audience that Preeti, who passed her MBBS exam and had a clear toxic relationship with Kabir did not even take a step for her life.

Kabir kissed her without consent, toxic behaviour and patterns which he usually displays on her and family. This female character continues to act dumb and victimize with her choice, there was no point for her character but a dumb female character got highlighted in the movie.

•   Sanjana (Main Hoon Na)

Do we remember this character of Amrita Rao?

Main Hoon Na, an iconic Bollywood movie and Shah Rukh Khan, Zayir Khan and Amrita Rao were part of the cast. Though this Bollywood character was not highlighted as an iconic female character but as a daughter and lover. She was mostly clingy for Laxman affection and the idea to change yourself for a guy was promoted through Sanjana character. She entirely changes her style and transforms herself with Pink salwar to look attractive and be loved by Laxman.

•  Meghna (Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na)

Meghna the sweetest girlfriend got hated by the audience.

Don’t we all remember the movie ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’ movie? This movie has two best friends, Jai and Aditi and even though Meghna was Jai’s short-term girlfriend, she was hated by the audience for her interference between these two love birds. Before we all judge Meghna, know that Jai and Aditi realized they love each other, after having their own partner. They both were aware of these feelings. Neither Jai and Aditi confronted each other about their true feelings, which makes it irrelevant to judge Meghna.

•  Zoya (Raanjhanaa)

We are talking about toxicity, how can we forget Zoya?

Raanjhanaa movie’s iconic female character ‘Zoya’ got her highlight. Though this character received enormous hate, as this character has not only a toxic pattern to lead her childhood lover but she even planned several traps on him according to her needs and requirements. Zoya not once but several times lead on both guys and gave mixed signals according to her needs.  

•  Veronica (Cocktail)

The friendship between Veronica and Meera in cocktail, made the other character shallow.

Bollywood movie Cocktail, this movie cast was lead by Deepika Padukone (Veronica), Saif Ali Khan (Gautam) and Diana Penty (Meera). These characters got equal screen time but not every character was loved. You will not believe but Meera was a hated character, when she stole Veronica’s boyfriend from her.
