PK in Connaught Place and Agrasen ki Baoli


Connaught Place and Agrasen Ki Baoli are two places in Delhi that attract a lot of tourists every year. Talking about the Agrasen Ki Baoli, it is one of the best monuments, with a great structure with walls and stairs.

There is a scene in the film where Jaggu (Anushka Sharma) finds out the reality of PK that he is a being who accidentally lands on earth, and that place was shot in Connaught Place, Agrasen Ki Baoli, and Humayun Tomb.

3 idiots, Badhai Ho, among many others – have been shot at CP. Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, Sultan, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, and many other movies were shot in Agrasen Ki Baoli.

Delhi 6 in Old Delhi


Delhi 6 captured the essence of the musty lanes of Old Delhi and the legendary Jama Masjid, along with various nooks and corners of Chandni Chowk. A few scenes were also shot in Karol Bagh, and the very popular song of the film ‘Masakali’ was shot in Saddi Dilli lifeline, aka the metro.

The debut film of Ranveer Singh, which made him an overnight sensation, is Band Baaja Baarat, opposite Anushka Sharma. Band Baaja Baarat was one of the films that was purely and mostly shot in various locations in Delhi.

Who can forget the Bread Pakoda moment between Bittoo and Shruti? It was shot at DU’s Hansraj College. Apart from Hansraj College, the movie was shot in Subhash Nagar, Janakpuri, Rajouri Garden, and North & West Delhi.

Rockstar in Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah

Rockstar portrays the song ‘Kun Faya Kun’, which was shot in Delhi’s one of the most popular Dargahs Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah. Apart from Kun Faya Kun Delhi 6, Arziyan, featuring Abhishek Bachchan was also shot in this dargah. The dargah was featured in films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Ahista Ahista.
