I think that if a guy knows some secret, fun places in any area that not a lot of people know about then it’s pretty cool. It doesn’t really have to be exotic. When i was filming my tv show for travelxp hd in india, we went to a really remote and beautiful area in meghalaya called shnongpdeng. We camped by the river and cooked on the banks, if someone took me somewhere like that i’d be impressed at his local knowledge!

You know, it’s always good when someone is up for trying new things with food. I love seafood and its super romantic if you get to pick it out together and it’s cooked right in front of you on the beach.

What’s the unusual yet romantic tradition from around the world?
I guess it’s not really a tradition, but i always like little surprises. Like if a guy has been away and brings you back a little token of his affection, it just shows he was thinking of you, which is lovely. Equally, some of the most romantic things that people have done for me have been making something for me. I have a beautiful hand-painted charcoal picture of a lion in my room.

What adventurous things can the couple do together?
Wow! There’s so many choices! I love scuba diving with someone. I think travelling too can really bring you closer as a couple. Going to new places, like national parks, trekking or even market. Not everything always goes according to plan on trips, but it’s always the funny and adventurous stories that end up bringing couples closer.

What to do if something goes wrong?
(haha) I think that totally depends on what goes wrong! Someone once tried to take me to a winetasting class and we got on the wrong train and missed the class. He dealt with it well though. We laughed about the mistake and ended up just going somewhere nearby! I think it’s on the guy on how he handles the situation.
