2023 started with a bang and now it is all set to end with a huge shootout in December. Yesterday, numerous announcements were made by the Indian Makers which will definitely be a rollercoaster ride for Filmy Buffs.

2023 is one of the most successful years for the entertainment industry, with big movies releasing every weekend, the last of this year will also be both busy and exciting for film lovers.

From Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur to Prabhas’ Salaar and Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki, fans are excited for these much-awaited films to finally hit theatres. Take a look at the films that one must not miss in December 2023.

December 01: Sam Bahadur Vs. Animal

December will start with a clash which will be between Vicky Kaushal and Ranbir Kapoor. Vicky Kaushal will be seen in the biopic “Sam Bahadur” directed by Meghna Gulzar. Apart from Vicky Kaushal, Fatima Sana Sheikh and Sanya Malhotra will also seen playing a key role in the film. The film is based on the life of the first Indian Army Commander to be elevated to the rank of field marshal who led the Indian Army during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971.

Whereas, Ranbir Kapoor will collaborate with Sandeep Reddy Vanga for the first time in “Animal” where he will seen sharing screen with Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol. Animal will be the third film of Sandeep Reddy Vanga in which he will not only direct the film but also write and edit the movie. Animal Teaser has already been released by the makers on September 28.

December 08: Merry Christmas Vs. Yodha

Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi starrer Merry Christmas which was scheduled to release on December 15 will now release on December 08 along with Yodha. Both the films will clash together on the same date. Earlier also they were clashing on the big screen when both the makers of the film decided to release their film on December 15.

Merry Christmas is an upcoming thriller movie that will be directed by Sriram Raghavan (director of Badlapur and Andhadhun), Whereas, Yodha will be an action film based on the situation of airplane hi-jack. Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna have a key role in the movie.

December 22: Salaar Vs. Dunki

Just a few days ago, the makers of Salaar confirmed that the movie will clash with Rajkumari Hirani’s Dunki. By sharing the deadly poster of Prabhas, the makers confirmed the news. Salaar will be the third franchise from Prashanth Neel’s Monster Universe after KGF and KGF 2.

It will be one of the biggest clashes in the history of Indian Cinema. Both Prashanth Neel and Rajkumari Hirani have a 100% success rate in the film industry. Dunki will star Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu and Salaar has an ensemble cast of Prabhas, Shruti Haasan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Meenakshi Chaudhary. Salaar was scheduled to release on September 28 but due to some post-production work, it was rescheduled for December 22.
