• Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue

Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue is a story set in 1989, in Raniganj coalfields. The 65 miners get stuck in the mine due to unforeseen downpours. They were preassumed dead by people until Jaswant Gill stepped in and saved the 65 miners. The movie was previously titled “Capsule Gill” and then “The Great Bharat Rescue”. After going through lots of names, the makers rebranded the movie as “Mission Raniganj”. The teaser of the movie was released on 7 September and is scheduled to hit the theatres on 6 October 2023.

• Bade Miyan Chote Miyan

Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Jacky Bhagnani, the movie is set to be released on Eid 2024. It will be released in five languages. This movie also stars Tiger Shroff, Sonakshi Sinha, and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The movie has been shot in exotic locations such as Scotland, UAE, London, and India. Tiger and Akshay many times share several photos of the movie which gives you a fair idea about this upcoming action-thriller.

• Housefull 5

Sajid Nadiadwala recently announced the fifth instalment of his comedy franchise “Housefull”. According to him, the movie has 5 times the madness. Housefull 5 is helmed by Tarun Mansukhani and will hit the theatres on Diwali 2024. Akshay Kumar and Ritesh Deshmukh have remained constant in the franchise of the movie. Fans are really excited and eagerly waiting for the movie to be released. The makers haven’t revealed the other deets about the movie.

• Welcome to the Jungle

Akshay Kumar treated his fans to a special gift on his birthday. The actor dropped the promo of his upcoming comedy movie “Welcome to the Jungle”. It is a franchise of Welcome. The movie stars a massive ensemble of casts including Arshad Warsi, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Paresh Rawal and others. The movie is directed by Ahmed Khan. It was produced by Jyoti Deshpande and co-produced by Firoz A Nadiadwallah. It will scheduled to be release 20 December 2024.

Apart from this Akshay has other movies in the pipeline such as Phir Hera Pheri 3, Soorarai Pottru’s Hindi remake, and Sky Force in Lucknow.
