Today, Thalapathy Vijay is celebrating his 49th birthday, and on the occasion of his birthday, he released the new poster of his upcoming movie ‘Leo: Bloody Sweet’, which is looking extremely intense. In the first look poster, it seems like Vijay is going to take charge of doing something larger, this time with a welding hammer.
The poster also features a wolf, which symbolizes the mind and intelligence that the character of Vijay holds in the film. The Poster also has a tagline that reads, “In the world of untamed river, calm waters either divine gods or dreaded demons.”
It is the second film of Thalapathy Vijay with Lokesh Kanagaraj after Master.
By sharing the first look poster on his Instagram, Thalapthy Vijay captioned it, #LeoFirstLook. On the other hand, Lokesh Kanagaraj shared the poster on his Twitter Handle, wished the superstar, and wrote, #LeoFirstLook is here! Happy Birthday @actorvijay Anna! The Upcoming movie of Lokesh Kanagaraj will be the third installment of his Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU) after Kaithi (2019), starring Karthi, and Vikram Hitlist (2022), starring Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahadh Faasil. In Leo, Vijay will be seen in the titular role, opposite Trisha Krishnan in the lead role. Vijay and Trisha will share the screen after 15 years. They had done four films together before Leo. They are Kuruvi (2008), Aathi (2006), Ghilli (2004), and Thirupaachi (2005).
The first song from the film ‘Leo’ will release today.
Other than Trisha Krishnan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Priya Anand, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mysskin, and Sandy will also be part of the film. After Master, Leo is the second collaboration between actor Thalapathy Vijay and Director Lokesh Kanagaraj.
Ahead of Vijay’s birthday, after the first look poster, the makers will also release their first song today, ‘Naa Ready, at 6:30 p.m., which will feature Thalapathy Vijay. The song was composed by Anirudh Ravichander. This film will be the second collaboration between Lokesh Kanagaraj and Thalapathy Vijay after the 2021 Master, which also featured Malvika Mohan and Vijay Sethupathi.
Thalapathy Vijay was last seen in ‘Varisu’ opposite Rashmika Mandanna.

Leo: Bloody Sweet is produced by Seven Screen Studio, and the music will be handled by Anirudh Ravichander, who has given some terrific music in the South Indian industry. Anirudh also gave the music for Lokesh’s last released film, ‘Vikram, which was a blockbuster in the audience. Vijay’s Leo will release in theatres worldwide on October 19, 2023, in four different languages: Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi.
