Hidden pleasure: six designer sex toys
we guys don’t always need a partner to satisfy our urges. neither does she. but if you’re struggling to keep up with her wants, invest in one of these. oh! there’s one for you too!

Whoop-de-doo

Prague-based designer Anna Maresova created this low cost line of erotic toys in 2011, adding a new product every so often. She began with Venus Balls – a hygenic way to strengthen the pelvic floor and in 2017, she’s releasing Vibration Eggs for vaginal and clitoral stimulation. Book now!
21 grams
A bizarre ‘memory-box’ for your widow that contains your scent, the music you both liked in life (the cabinet acts as an acoustic amplifier) and space for a smartphone. Most importantly, it also has a dildo that contains 21 grams of your ashes. For when she’s really missing you!

Grandad clock dildo
Dutch designer Bastiaan Buijs’ Studio Cremaster made just 10 pieces of this clockwork powered vibrator. Made from brass and glass, the jiggle is produced by a rose gold weight and at 14,000 Euros, it’s bound to produce more than just a lingering tingle.

Glory holes
This multi-purpose coffee table by Beirut designer Richard Yasmine can be used as it is, as a sculptural piece, or when inverted, as a base for a larger table. Made out of solid marble, it rests on eight handmade brass supports that indeed prove one-size-does-not-fit-all.

Vesper by crave
Slim, elegant and unobtrusive. Much like your own penis. Designed to be soundless, the Vesper is both jewellery and a strong vibrator. It is water-resistant and splashproof, the stainless steel body making it easy to clean. Go on then...

The satyr
Inspired by the ubiquitious pommel horse apparatus common to gymnasts, Buijs designed this sex object for lonely men. With an organic form created from red silicone (what the designer calls ‘dragon skin’) and maple for the legs, there’s a 12 volt battery inside to spice things up. Buijs says he made this to change the image of a pitiful guy with his blow-up doll. Ah well, good try Bastiaan.
