Priyanka Chopra finally reveals the truth behind dropping surname ‘Jonas’

As the rumours were getting too much of the air, Priyanka decided to come forward and dust it off herself. In an interview, when Priyanka was asked about the whole scenario and her take on that, she was smart enough to handle the question with her cool. She said, “because of the noise of social media, because of the prevalence that it has in our lives, I think it seems a lot larger than it is.” Calling the ongoing rumours a ‘professional hazard’, PeeCee also said that people give it a lot more credence in real life that is not really needed.

Priyanka clarified that dropping ‘Jonas’ was for professional reasons and people give more importance to social media than needed.

As she was talking about social media and how people react to everything that is posted, she also said that “It’s a very vulnerable feeling, actually, that if I post a picture, everything that’s behind me in that picture is going to be zoomed in on, and people are going to speculate.” Honestly, what Priyanka said is true to some extent.

When it comes to dropping the surname Jonas from her social media, Priyanka’s mother also clarified then and there that she has taken this step for professional reasons and it has nothing to do with her personal life or her relationship with her husband.
