15 Evolution Forcing The Animal Act

What little we’ve heard of the evolution theory, it has made us absolute fans of Charles Darwin, the dude of the weird-ass observation world. And there’s something that tells us that the old man knew more than he recorded in his little black book. We tried to get inside his head to better locate the homo-sapiens in the animal kingdom. A lot of our natural acts and instincts bear a close semblance to our wilder counterparts. So, next time you feel all chuffed up about being ingenious and original, go through this list to bring yourself down back on earth.

1. PAINT THE WALLS.

Ever took your canine best friend out on a walk? He always looks for a right angle formation against a wall or whatever to take a leak. Very rarely in situations of desperation will he pee on the ground. Humans of the Indian race do something similar. We pee on walls, under bridges, next to a hospital, into a bin, and practically everywhere our body indicates the slightest pressure on the bladder. The neater the wall, the better the satisfaction.

2. UNPREDICTABILITY.

Guys, let’s stop blaming the fairer sex for being the exclusive patrons of bizarre emotions. We do it too. But, fluctuations in emotions that culminate into erratic behaviour are something that animals have been experiencing since the start of time. A recent study says that animals are beyond their stereotypical personality traits. They get grumpy and playful for no apparent reasons. The next time your cat doesn’t purr with his usual happy swag, understand he’s just not in the mood.

3. THE INTIMATE TOUCH.

If you thought touching yourself for pleasure was an exclusive human prerogative, you couldn’t be more wrong. Monkeys do it out in the open, almost in a similar fashion as their evolved cousins. But that’s not all. Squirrels, tortoises, porcupines and even elephants feel themselves up in times of need. Sure, they don’t do it like us but there’s no rule book that says how it should be done, right?

4. MUMBLE IN DREAMS

When you’re asleep your body often acts on its own, like talking or walking in sleep, thanks to an information overload that finds its way out in such subconscious gestures. Oh, the audacity of human mind to think that this happens because our brains are super evolved! Dolphins, who are our seniors in species chronology, have been found to sing whale-songs in their sleep that are played to them during the day. Not very different are we?

5. THE WEDDING BELLS.

Wolves may have been the first ones to create the concept of nuclear families and promote monogamy. A typical wolf pack has a mom-dad-kids group sticking together, till the kids are old enough to make their own family and move out. Now you know why dogs have a bad reputation, worthy enough of entering the cuss world. Despite being close cousins of the righteous wolves, they hump everything that moves, and even that which doesn’t. Humans do that too.
