Amitabh Bachchan and Rashmika Mandanna’s Goodbye is a comedy-drama about a dysfunctional family

Straight from Vikas Behl’s mind, Goodbye is set to hit the big screen on October 7.

If you are looking for a good movie amid the movies that have not performed up to the mark since the beginning of the year, don’t lose hope as Amitabh Bachchan’s upcoming release might be the feature film that you were waiting for. The trailer of ‘Goodbye’, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Neena Gupta, and Rashmika Mandanna was released earlier this week and it gives a sneak peek into a family’s tragic life & death situation with some great humor.

The family drama movie is an appealing story that highlights the complicated relationships.

The family drama movie is an appealing story that highlights the complicated relationships, traditions, ups and downs, chaos, drama, and love that exist in every family. A family deals with a tragic death in the family drama’s trailer, which was directed by Vikas Bahl. Neena Gupta’s character dies, and her husband, Amitabh, and children, Rashmika and Pavail Gulati, organize for her funeral while simultaneously dealing with their shock and grief. A lot of drama, love, loss, and unfortunately even humor are promised in the trailer.

The major focus of the movie is on the complex father-daughter relationship.

The view at the trailer gives a hint that the story of the film majorly revolves around the complexity of the father-daughter relationship, played by Bachchan and Mandanna. Though there are a few instances in the trailer where you might question whether the dialogue is appropriate for a more general situation, looking at the current condition of the characters, they make perfect sense.

Goodbye will mark Rashmika’s Bollywood debut after the actor’s most recent appearance was in Pushpa: The Rise. Pushpa, however, became a well-liked Telugu movie where Rashmika appeared alongside Allu Arjun. Rashmika became well-known throughout India as a result of the movie’s success, which was a national phenomenon. Along with Sidharth Malhotra, Rashmika will also be seen in the Hindi flicks Animal and Mission Majnu.

Amitabh Bachchan and Neena Gupta will be seen opposite each other for the first time.

On the side, Goodbye is not the only film starring Amitabh Bachchan that is set to release this year. Earlier this year, Bachchan’s Jhund did a decent job at the theatres and one of the most awaited films, Brahmastra is set to release this week. At the age of around 80, Amitabh Bachchan is a man who is inspiring people over the years with his work.

Big B was last seen in Jhund.

Other stars who will be seen sharing the screen with the main leads Amitabh Bachcna, Neena Gupta and Rashmika Mandanna are Sunil Grover, Ashish Vidyarthi, Elli AvrRam, Shivin Narang, Sahil Mehta, and Abhishekh Khan. The cinematography of the movie has been handled by Sudhakar Reddy Yakkanti and editing has been done by A Sreekar Prasad, alongside, the very talented Amit Trivedi has given the music for the film.
