Are You A Shang-Chi Fan? Re-Live Your Childhood and Know A Wee Bit About The Part 1 of Your Favorite Superhero

Remember Your Once-A-Favourite Comic Superhero Shang-Chi? Well, Grab That Popcorn Tub Because This is An Insight into The World of “Shang-Chi and The Legends of The Ten Rings”

Who here doesn’t like watching movies? I mean, sure the taste differs but come on, a movie is all it takes to set the mood in the right place. If you don’t, maybe it’s time that you try something new today. From comedy to romance, movies date all the way back to 1906 when the first full-length feature film “The Story of the Kelly Gang” opened in Melbourne.

If you follow the magical world of movies and mythology, you must be aware of the American giant “Marvel Studios”. Producing some revolutionizing movie series like Marvel’s Avengers, X-Men, Deadpool, and Spider-Man, Marvel has indeed proved to be a marvel of the entertainment buzz.

Recently Marvel Studios has released its first-ever Asian lead movie named “Shang-Chi and The Legends of The Ten Rings” starring Simu Liu as the lead and Destin Daniel Cretton as the director. Grab your popcorn while we continue talking about it!

Fusing the Asian-American culture and their comical mythological superheroes, Marvel tried something new here this time. First appearing in the Special Marvel’s Edition #15, Shang-Chi was an Asian superhero who now made his way to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

First appearing in the Special Marvel’s Edition #15, Shang-Chi was an Asian superhero who now made his way to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The movie was released on 2nd September and there is just one word that would make sense; Marvel-ous. With Chinese-Canadian Actor Simu Liu on board, every action scene seems realistic and intense. With its last superhit “Just Mercy”, director Destin Daniel Cretton has yet again released a banger.

The story is based on Shaun, your regular valet living his dream in modern-day America. After a deadly assassination attempt on Shaun, the past becomes clearer for him and he goes back to his homeland. Then finds the hidden magical village of Ta-Lo and the gate which protects the modern-day world from the evil dimensions.

He, alongside her sister Katy, has to protect humanity from their powerful father Wenwu, who is played by Tony Leung. Wenwu is ready to kill his son and daughter for the legendary ten rings. But can he? Romance is also something we wanted to see but his friendship with Awkwafina remains platonic throughout. But aren’t platonic friendships without sexual tensions fun?

The movie also depicts some of the most intense hand-to-hand battles and looks nothing less than a classic Kung-Fu movie at times. If it was in the hand of Marvel, the world would’ve ended decades ago. But all jokes apart, the movie depicts Asian leads and respects Asian heritage by staying away from all the Asian stereotypes which “Shang-Chi Comic” was criticized for.

For the people who have seen “My Neighbor Totoro” & “Miyazaki’s Spiritual Away”, this movie would be pure bliss. If you are someone who likes Action, Comedy & Love, you would fall in love with this masterpiece immediately.
