Bloody Daddy Teaser: Shahid Kapoor In A Fierce Avatar In The Movie

After giving a major hit web series “Farzi” actor Shahid Kapoor comes up with another masterpiece “Bloody Daddy”. Taking to Instagram, the actor and makers unveiled the film’s first teaser on Thursday. The actor sees in a raw, rugged, and fierce avatar in the film. The crime thriller Bloddy Daddy was helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar and this movie is the official adaptation of the French film Nuit Blanche which was released in 2011.

The makers launch this BLOODY teaser at Jio Studios Infinite Together. Besides Shahid Kapoor, this film also stars Sanjay Kapoor, Ronit Roy, Daina Penty, Ankur Bhatia, and Rajeev Khandelwal in pivotal roles. The film is produced by Jio Studios, Offside Entertainment, The Vermillion World and AAZ Films. Bloody Daddy skip the theatrical release and is all set to release on OTT on 9 June 2023 on Jio Cinema. This film marks the first collaboration of Shahid Kapoor with filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar.

The teaser starts by showing an aerial view of a lit-up city. Later, the scene cuts to Shahid Kapoor entering a hotel’s dark hallway. He wears a black suit with a white shirt and looks violent revenge spree, he started smashing baddies mercilessly. The action scenes of the movie will definitely “Blow Your Head” as the teaser claims. In the teaser clip, we also got a glimpse of Sanjay Kapoor, who plays the character of a gangster. 

He frustratingly asked his goons “What’s happening”? Later, the scene cut to Ronit Roy, who also looks like a gangster and is seen with guns. Then, Diana Penty, Ankur Bhatia, and Rajeev Khandelwal were seen on the screen. And then this thing gets clear why everything looks so dark & violent because this movie is all about drugs, mafia, revenge and lots of blood.

The speed-off teaser also shows the release date and platform in the end. The background music of the movie is mind-blowing that will hit you differently. As soon as the makers dropped the teaser, fans got excited to see Shahid in this rugged avatar but also many of them compare him to the John Wick franchise. One of the users commented, “It looks like the mixture of Rocky Handsome and John Wick”. Another one wrote, “John Wick in 144p by the way it looks amazing”.

Shahid Kapoor’s Work Front:

Shahid Kapoor was last seen in Raj & DK’s web series Farzi, in which he played the role of a con artist. The series marks his and Vijay Sethupathi’s OTT debut. Farzi also stars Raashii Khanna, Kay Kay Menon, and Bhuvan Arora in pivotal roles. Shahid will be next seen in Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre’s Yodha alongside Disha Patani, Raashii Khanna, and Siddharth Malhotra. The 42-year-old actor will also be seen in a yet-to-be-titled movie. Which is directed and written by Aradhna Sah and Amit Joshi. The movie also stars Kriti Sanon.
