Fans of Allu Arjun are eagerly anticipating the release of his Pushpa: The Rise sequel, which is scheduled for 2021. The upcoming Telugu film’s creators officially announced the film’s release date on social media on Monday night. On August 15, 2024, the much-awaited sequel “Pushpa 2: The Rule” will hit theatres.
The film’s production company, Mythri Moviemakers, revealed the sequel’s release date on X, formerly known as Twitter. Fahadh Faasil will reprise his role as SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat in the Sukumar-directed movie, and Rashmika Mandanna will reprise her role as Molleti Srivalli. The new poster does not show Allu Arjun, but his hand is depicted with blood stains and is decked with rings and bangles.
By sharing the poster, The makers wrote “Pushpa Raj is coming back to conquer the box office”. For his role as smuggler Pushpa Raj in the movie, Allu Arjun just won the National Award for Best Actor, which was awarded by the 69th National Film Awards jury. Devi Sri Prasad, the film’s composer, won the National Award for Best Music.
Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rule and Ajay Devgn’s Superhit Franchise ‘Singham’ are reportedly going to fight. Since the announcement, there have been numerous conversations at Shetty’s office, and the talks have resulted in the decision to postpone the release of Singham Again from the previously scheduled Independence Day date. Neither Rohit Shetty nor Ajay Devgn is egotistical enough to adhere to a date that jeopardizes the commercial viability of their respective films.
