In 2012, Ranveer Singh was the first time involved in the controversy when he tweeted on his Twitter account after watching the film Ek Tha Tiger, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif that ”Ek Tha Tiger felt absolute bore bt (sic) last 15 min was magical, nice stunt and action @beingsalmankhan”. He also tweeted ”While I was passing through a multiplex people after seeing Ek Tha Tiger was asking for TIGER BAAM”. After that tweet, he faced lots of criticism from the Indian cinema.
In 2015, an FIR was lodged against him for using obscene words in public during the roast comedy show MB Knockout.
While he was shooting the film Dil Dhadakne Do (2015) along with Priyanka Chopra, he kissed her in front of people, which she did not like at all. She later taunted him while promoting this film for his overenthusiastic acting after which Ranveer said that he would never work with her again.
