Sam Bahadur Teaser: Sam Bahadur starring Vicky Kaushal, Sanya Malhotra, and Fatima Sana Sheikh, will hit the screen on December 01, 2023.

One of the most anticipated teasers of Sam Bahadur has finally been released by the makers today. The teaser shares a glimpse of the main leads from the film, starring Vicky Kaushal as Sam Manekshaw, Sanya Malhotra as Silloo Manekshaw (wife of Sam Bahadur), and Fatima Sana Sheikh as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. This upcoming biopic is helmed by Meghna Gulzar under the banner of RSVP Movies.

Talking about the teaser, it opens with the dialogue ‘Ek soldier ke liye uski jaan se jyad kimati hoti hain uski izzat, uski vardi, aur ek soldier uski vardi keliye apni jaan bhi de sakta hain’ along with various events that took place while he was in the Indian Army, and the whole teaser is applause-worthy for Vicky Kaushal as he is totally surrendered himself in the soul of Sam Manekshaw.

Somewhere he will remind you of his national award-winning performance, Major Vihan Shergill, from 2019 Uri: The Surgical Strike, but each and every dialogue from the teaser shows how Manekshaw loved his job and the Indian Army.

For those who don’t know, Sam Manekshaw (Sam Hormusji Framji Jamshedji Manekshaw) was the first Indian to get promoted to the level of Field Marshal. He was also the Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army during the 1971 India – Pakistan War. He was also honoured with both Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan by the Indian government.

Sam Bahadur is the second collaboration of director Meghna Gulzar and Vicky Kaushal after Raazi, which was released in 2016. Apart from the lead actor, the movie also stars Neeraj Gabi, Mohammed Zeeshan Aayub, and Edward Sonnenblick. Sam Bahadur will hit the screens on December 1, along with Sandeep Vanga’s Animal.

On the work front, Vicky Kaushal was last seen in Zara Hatke, Zara Bachke, which was hit at the box office, and The Great Indian Family, which failed very badly at the box office due to a lack of execution and bad promotion. Sanya Malhotra was last seen in SRK’s Jawan, and Fatima Sana Sheikh will be next seen in Dhak Dhak, which is released on October 13 and stars Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza, and Sanjana Sanghi.
