Brahmastra Trailer Review: Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt In A Never-Seen-Before Concept

With a mega-star cast, Ayan Mukherji is back with a concept that will blow your mind

The much-awaited trailer of the movie ‘Brahmastra’ was dropped on Wednesday by Star Studios and if we had to describe the trailer in just one word, it would be ‘exceptional’. A single glance at the trailer does not do justice to the team’s efforts. So, keep reading to know what you can expect from the movie starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy and directed by Ayan Mukherji.

The trailer of the movie is worth all the hype that has been buzzing around. Based on the unique concept of mythological fantasy, the trailer begins with the narration by Superstar Amitabh Bachchan, about the various astras, which unitedly constitute the Brahmastra. Cut to the story of the film, which focuses on the life of a young boy named ‘Shiva’, who is falling in love with Isha (Alia Bhatt) but fate has other plans. Their world turns upside down when Shiva finds out that he has a mysterious connection with the Brahmastra when he realises, he has an extraordinary power which he is unable to understand, the power of fire – Agniastra.

Ranbir will be seen playing the role of Shiva in the movie.

It is then he learns about the other divine heroes of the universe trying to save the Brahmastra from the dark energies, teaming up to defeat Shiva along with the queen of darkness, Junoon (Mouni Roy). Brahmastra is the first part of the trilogy that is making its way to bring India’s first-ever original cinematic universe inspired by the deeply rooted mythological tales in Indian History. A movie with such concepts set in the modern world of science and fiction would be nothing but a treat to watch.

Directed by Ayan Mukherji, Brahmastra will hit the screens on September 9.

Brahmastra is surely going to be a movie which is set to take you on an adventurous journey along with Shiva into the world of astras. The top-notch VFX, strong CGI and the performance by such mega stars will bring Ayan Mukherji’s vision to life and that too with justice.
