I have just returned from the Summit of Stok Kangri. My zeal for the outdoors and trying out new things are keeping me on my toes. On the work front, I am really excited for the release of my upcoming web series on Amazon Prime.

We hear that you gave your first speech at 13! Tell us about the experience.

(Haha!) Yes, it was in the school and the topic was earthquakes. I remember my green braces popping out of my mouth, knees that felt like jelly and butterflies in my stomach, but all of this disappeared when I said good morning. When I delivered my first TedX talk, I felt the exact same butterflies in my stomach after years. The thrill of doing what you love has a special energy.

We don’t know much about you. Enrich us.

I am a Bangalore girl. I was raised in a protective home. I have one sibling and I was raised to be responsible and politically correct. I was really shy, but somehow during my metamorphosis it all changed and I turned into a new chapter, a new self. Our mother has been instrumental in my building blocks and the redevelopment. I was packed off to Dubai to find a job, and a whole new world of opportunities stood right in front of me. I even learnt how to dress like a girl in Dubai (haha)! The Mumbai dream was always a sub conscious plan, so I decided to breathe life into it in 2010, and since then there has been no looking back.

Teach us a line or two in Kannada. The lovely ones of course.

For me love is eating Dosa at Chikkanna tiffin rooms so I’d ask you, “Chikkanna rooms barthiya, dosa thinnona?” It means, ‘Will you come to Chikkanna rooms, we’ll eat dosa.’

Having done shows in 30 countries, which one is your favourite?

Spain has to be my most favourite of them all. The architecture, the spirit and the feeling of joy in the people is just lovely. Although when I travel for work, I take time off on my own to explore the city. I visited this tiny village, L’Escala in Costa Brava, the littleness of the place, the stillness and the crispness of the air is just amazing.

Talking of experience in different countries, how about the men there? Which country has the hottest men?

(Haha!) Italy has the most number of eye candies. Wait! I’d be biased if I don’t mention the hospitality and politeness of Turkish men!

With what phrases have guys tried to woo you?

Once a man told me, “You have been sent on earth to destroy perfect good marriages.” He didn’t get me, but the phrase still makes me smile and we are still the sweetest of friends.

Moving ahead, how gadget freak are you? What are your favourite gadgets?

I am a dud when it comes to electronics. I buy things because they look good or are easy to use. My iPhone and Marshall speakers will be the two things I am in love with.

When was the last time you screamed at the top of your lungs? What had happened?

Very recently, when I made it to the summit of Stok Kangri! I wept like a child and then screamed like a lunatic.

Let’s talk about your lovemaking skills. How would you rate yourself?

Oh! Awareness and being in the moment is a good skill to own. I would give myself an 8 on 10.

What’s your most embarrassing sexual moment?

When I was totally out of sync and my mind was wandering! Once I was actually thinking about emails I needed to send someone while we were at it. Truly embarrassing (winks)!

What’s your weirdest sexual fantasy?

To join the mile high club! It’s still a fantasy though.

What’s the worst thing someone has walked in on you doing?

Watching a video that wasn’t the eclipse of the sun (haha)!
