Kriti Sanon Launches New Production House ‘Blue Butterflies Films’, Announced New Movie With Kajol

Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon, who is busy with promotions, and shooting for her new films, on Tuesday announced the launch of her new production house ‘Blue Butterflies Films’ with sister Nupur Sanon. With entering into a new chapter of life, Kriti Sanon shared this news on her Instagram handle.

By sharing the short launch video clip of her Production House, the Adipurush actress expresses her excitement and wrote by tagging her sister Nupur Sanon, “And it’s time to shift the gear! (with emoticons of 3 butterflies).  But the surprise does not end here. At the end of the post, Actress wrote, “Announcing something special tomorrow”. Stay tuned! (with emoticons of butterfly and red heart).

Kriti Sanon announced a new movie with Dilwale Co-actor Kajol under her own Production House. 

And, today the actress made a new announcement which makes her fan more excited and thrilled. The excitement grew further as she revealed her debut project as a producer on Wednesday (July 05, 2023) in which Kriti Sanon reunite with Kajol. Mimi Actress mentioned It’s a mystery thriller titled ‘Do Patti’ which will release on Netflix. Do Patti, which promises to be a suspenseful thriller, intends to keep viewers on the edge of their seats. In addition to being Kriti’s first film, this one also acts as writer Kanika Dhillon’s debut project.

Let us tell you, Kriti Sanon and Kajol reunited again after 8 years, Dilwale directed by Rohit Shetty was the first film when they shared the screen for the first time. And, fans of Kriti Sanon and Kajol were thrilled to see them together once again.

‘The Crew’ is set to release next year on 22nd March 2024.

As soon as Kriti updated her fans with this announcement, people starts reacting to her post. Kriti Sanon’s mother Geeta Sanon wrote, ‘Yayy so so happy for you my girl’. IMDb commented, ‘Gives us butterflies just thinking of it! One of Kajol’s fan pages commented, ‘Omg Meera and Ishita???’ One user commented, ‘Omg! Our favourite Dilwale Girls are coming back!’ Others commented, Congratulations my butterfly. That’s too beautiful news. We are very excited.

Along with Kriti Sanon, Kanika Dhillon who is known for writing films like Kedarnath (2018), and Manmarziyaan (2018), Haseen Dillruba (2021) is also collaborating with the actress and debut in production under her production banner ‘Kathha Pictures’.

By sharing the pictures with Kriti Sanon on Instagram, Kanika wrote, ‘I am thrilled to embark on this new journey, as a producer. Do Patti is a gripping tale that is especially dear to me as a writer. And Netflix, of course, and such great actors as Kriti and Kajol… Today, I feel empowered as a writer because I know that I can make my vision a reality in addition to creating the world on paper.

On the work front, Kriti Sanon will be next seen in ‘The Crew’ along with Tabu & Kareena Kapoor, Ganapath: Part 1 opposite Tiger Shroff, and an untitled romantic comedy opposite Shahid Kapoor. On the other side, Kajol was last seen in Lust Stories 2, and she will be next seen in ‘The Trial’ which will release on 14 July, 2023.
