Orange you glad it’s Aperol o’clock?

And these days, no summer is complete without that beach vacation where you're kicking back with an Aperol Spritz in hand!

Orange you glad it’s Aperol o’clock?

If you're serious about sipping Aperol, take a cue from the Italians—they've perfected the art of the Aperol experience. This iconic Italian aperitif, with its vibrant orange hue and pleasantly bitter taste, was born in 1919 thanks to the Barbieri brothers in Padua. They aimed to create a low-alcohol drink to enjoy before meals, sparking the appetite. Fast forward to the post-war era, and the Aperol Spritz as we know it started to shine, especially in the 1950s and 60s. By mixing Aperol with Prosecco and a splash of soda water, they crafted a refreshing, eye-catching drink that quickly won hearts across Italy. Its bright orange color and bubbly, light taste have made it a beloved choice for aperitivo hours and summer get-togethers, cherished by locals and tourists alike.

  • 3 parts Prosecco
  • 2 parts Aperol
