Paul Wesley and Stephanie Beatriz to star in Horror-thriller – History of the Evil

The Hollywood industry has a vast variety of genres to entertain its audience and you would agree that each one of its creative storylines has something special to serve and leave an impact on the audience’s mind. So here we are to deliver some good news to those who enjoy one of the most interesting genres of movies, horror. Yes, there is one special story in line that has been planned to serve the audience with the hint of something different.

The Brooklyn Nine-Nine fame Stephanie Beatriz and one of the dashing Salvatore brothers from The Vampire Diaries, Paul Wesley, are set to star in the upcoming horror-thriller movie, History of Evil. The two actors who have been in this industry for a considerably long time and have set their place in the hearts of their fans, the two actors will be seen together for the very first time on screen. The movie will be directed by Iranian-American filmmaker, Bo Mirhosseni, who has also written the screenplay for the horror-thriller, with Jake Siegel as the producer. History of Evil will be produced by XYZ Films and Two & Two Pictures. The two production houses have worked on ‘Under the Shadow’ previously in the year 2016. The film was directed by Babak Anvari and another upcoming project by the two production companies is the Netflix film ‘I Came By’, which is also the one directed by Anvari.

Stephanie Beatriz is popularly known for playing the character of Roza Diaz in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, an American comedy television series.

History of the Evil is also a part of an agreement between the two companies, which notes t make films by directors in under-represented groups in the Hollywood film industry. The film will be released on AMC’s streaming platform Shudder and is expected to be out for North America, Ireland, the UK, New Zealand, and Australia. The plot of the film follows a family, which is on the run from a corrupt state, as they take refuge in a safe house with an evil past – a terrifying last stop on the near-future Underground Railroad. Other than starring in the film, Stephanie Beatriz and Paul Wesley will also act as executive producers for the film.

Paul Wesley gained his major stardom after the teen drama series, The Vampire Diaries, where he played the role of Stefan Salvatore. 

Stephanie Beatriz is popularly known for playing the character of Roza Diaz in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, an American comedy television series that aired for a long duration of 8 years (from 2013 – 2021). She has also worked on some of the other famous shows like Encanto, which was out in the year 2021, directed by Byron Howard and Jared Bush, The Light of the Moon, directed by Jessica M. Thompson and Half Magic, which was aired in 2018, directed by Heather Graham. While Paul Wesley has gained his popularity with a similar genre. Wesley aka Stefan Salvatore from The Vampire Diaries has been a heartthrob with his looks on the series which is an American supernatural teen drama that aired from 2009-2007. Other works of Paul include Mothers and Daughters, The Late Bloomer, and Before I Disappear.
