Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani starring Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan directed by Karan Johar finally unveiled the trailer today at 12 noon on the official channel of Dharma Production. After watching the trailer of Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani trailer, we can say that, in the film, Karan Johar has tried to combine comedy, love, and emotions in his iconic style. However, in the trailer of 1 min 19 seconds, you will see flashbacks of his films.
The story is of Rocky Randhawa and Rani Chatterjee. The trailer opens with Rocky and Rani getting into a physical altercation on the street, which quickly develops into a passionate affair. Rocky, played by Ranveer Singh a typical gym guy who falls for Rani Chatterjee, played by Alia Bhatt. Rani hails from a Kolkata-based Bengali family with a good education, but Rocky (Ranveer’s character) is richer and more reminiscent of his Band, Baaja, Baarat performance. Both characters have different lifestyles and worlds.
Hence, before marriage to know each other’s family, Rocky, and Rani decided to switch their family to know if their marriage will survive or not in the long run. As the trailer unfolds, it seems that the idea of switching families failed after some time. Now, whether Rocky and Rani will reunite together or not will be the basic plot of the film.
