At the grand premiere hosted by ‘The Archies’ makers in Mumbai, many stars made appearances to support the debutants, including Shah Rukh Khan.
Last night was the gala night of the Bollywood stars at the premiers of ‘The Archies’ but the main highlight of the event was the family of Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, who came to cheer their children Suhana Khan and Agastya Nanda, respectively.
Shah Rukh Khan gave a shout-out to his daughter Suhana Khan by wearing a customized t-shirt of ‘The Archies’ with black pants and a blazer, and he was looking dapper as always. With him, the entire Khan family was spotted at the event, including Gauri Khan, Aryan Khan, and AbRam Khan. Gauri Khan’s mother and Shah Rukh Khan’s mother-in-law also made an appearance and supported her granddaughter at the premiere.
Dunki actor came hand in hand adorably with his daughter and posed for the paparazzi with the family. Another highlight of this star-studded affair was the Bachchan family. Amitabh Bachchan came to the premiere with his wife Jaya Bachchan, daughter Shweta, son-in-law Nikhil Nanda, son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and granddaughters Aaradhya Bachchan & Navya Naveli Nanda to support Agasthya Nanda.
As Agastya posed solo, ‘mami’ Aishwarya was seen cheering for him and asking him to get used to posing alone for paps as he made his debut. The grand family also had a grand moment on the red carpet when they all posed together for the camera.
On the other side, Khushi Kapoor, who is also marking her debut with ‘The Archies’, came with Jahnvi Kapoor, Bonney Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, and Anshula Kapoor looked stunning in a golden gown that was worn by Sridevi in the 2013 IIFA’s red carpet.
The night also saw stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, Rekha, Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh, Karisma Kapoor, Amrita Arora, Malaika Arora, Shanaya Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Jahnvi Kapoor, Isabelle Kaif, Atlee, Neetu Kapoor, Hrithik Kapoor, Saba Azad, Farhan Akhtar, Aditya Roy Kapur, Vir Das, Kapil Sharna, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Ayan Mukherji, Kajol, Sonali Bendre, Ananya Pandey, power couple Riteish Deshmukh & Genelia D’Souza, and Bhumi Pednekar. ‘The Archies’ premiered at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC), in Mumbai.
Earlier today, a series of monochromatic pictures went viral on social media. In one of the pictures, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol are seen having a candid conversation in which the actress is seen smiling widely in the pictures. Kajol was seen in a beautiful floral saree. In another picture, Shah Rukh Khan was spotted hugging Vir Das who recently made history by winning International Emmy Awards 2023. Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh were seated together next to each other at the screening.
The Archies directed by Zoya Akhtar starring Agatsya Nanda, Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, Dot, and Yuvraj Menda follows a story of romance, friendship, and the future of Riverdale as developer threatens to destroy their beloved park which is an official adaptation of the Archies Comics and American Television Series which ran from 2017 to 2023.
