Television actor Nitish Pandey dies at the age of 51 due to cardiac arrest. Read out to know more.
TV actor Nitish Pandey who currently plays the role of Dheeraj in the star plus one of the popular shows Anupamaa, has died at the age of 51. The actor was found dead in the morning in his hotel room in Igatpuri, Maharashtra. He was there for shooting purposes. Consecutively, the TV industry lost its three gems including Nitish Pandey (51), Vaibhavi Upadhyaya (32), and Aditya Singh Rajput (32). The sudden demise of these actors shocked the entire Tv industry and movie industry.
Maharashtra Police reached the hotel where Nitish Pandey was staying and the investigation is still going on. Police sent the body for a postmortem and waiting for the reports. Police are already done questioning the hotel staff and the people who are close to the actor. The actor’s brother-in-law Siddharth shared this news with the media. He also said the entire family of Nitish is in a state of shock. According to sources, the actor’s family left for Igatpuri to get his body home.
The actor was part of the entertainment industry for about 25 years. He started his journey in the ’90s as a theatre artist. Later, in 1995, he played the role of detective in the short-lived show ‘Tejas’ and he always continued to do roles whether it’s small or big part. He was part of the multiple hit Tv series from Astitiva: Ek Prem Kahani to Kuch Toh Log Kahenge.
The actor was last seen in the Starplus hit TV series “Anupamaa” and “Pyar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara”, in which he played the role of Dheeraj Kapoor and Harish Kumar, respectively. On his sudden demise, his co-star and a very good friend actress Rupali Ganguly said “He was a very close friend to me and the only friend who stays in touch with me apart from Sarabhais and Delnaaz, during my break from the acting. Nitish also had come to meet me after my son Rudransh was born. I still can’t believe this!” She further added, “We talked last week to make plans for a meet-up”.
Another of his co-star Surbhi Tiwari said “Nitish was a gem and a jovial person, we lost him too soon. He always guided me and helped me to resolve my issues”. She further added, “Whenever I get stuck at any point in life I had always called him. I had bumped into Nitesh in March and we’d chat for some time”.
Nitish Pandey was not only famous for his work in the television industry but also he worked in several big-budget movies. He played the role of Shahrukh Khan’s assistant in Om Shanti Om and also the role of the doctor in Salman Khan starrer Dabaang 2. He was last seen in the “Badhaai Do” movie, starring Bhumi Pednekar and Rajkumar Rao. In the movie, he played the role of Bhumi’s father.
