One of the popular Mythological crime-thriller series Asur Season 2 first promo video is unveiled on Wednesday. The makers announced the release date of the Asur 2 in the promo clip. Once again the audience will witness the terrific duo Arshad Warsi and Barun Sobti in the series.
Asur 1 was released in 2020 and streamed on Voot. the first season of the series is full of mythology, thrill, mystery, and a lil bit of horror. It had all the elements which hook the fans to their seats. The original part of Asur was co-written by Niren Bhatt, Gaurav Shukla, Abhijeet Khuman, and Pranay Patwardhan and helmed by Oni Sen.
Asur series fans have waited 2 years for the 2nd season of the series and finally, it’s back with more thrill, mystery, and mythological theories.
The makers shared the 1-minute promo of Asur 2 on Wednesday evening, which gives us a sneak peek of the upcoming season. The promo started with the voice in the background saying “The world needs new order” even though we see all the characters of the series look tense like they’re searching for an answer.
Then, the scene cut to Arshad Warsi (Dhananjay Rajpoot) who was standing facing towards the sea and in the next minute he was seen pointing a gun at someone and saying “You have to give an answer to your god, but I’m not answerable to anyone”. Then we spotted Barun Sobti (Nikhil Nair), who is regretting something and trying to redeem it now. He said to Arshad Warsi “I made a mistake a few years ago and will not repeat it this time. The world doesn’t need another devil”.
The promo also gives us a glimpse of other characters including Riddhi Dogra, Amey Wagh, and Anupriya Goenka, all of them are playing pivotal roles. At the last of the video, a person hides his face with the mask (which was used in the first season). The mask was spotted throughout the new promo video. And makers also dropped the hint of the dark side of Arshad Warsi’s character.
All the characters nailed their roles. This time, the makers ditched Voot to stream another season and will release the upcoming season on Jio Cinema on 1 June. So, folks, get ready to witness the return of Asur with more mystery and drama.
