Grammy-nominated pop star Bebe Rexha’s face is bruised after a fan throws a phone at her during the concert.
A 33-year-old singer & songwriter Bebe Rexha was hit by a phone on stage during her electrifying performance at a jam-packed concert resulting in a bruised face. Bebe Rexha was abruptly interrupted by an incident that left her and the audience in shock. The incident happened while she performing on the stage during her 13th concert at the Rooftop at Pier 17 in NYC on Sunday. A video of this unfortunate incident went viral on social media in no time, and the video was shared by concertgoers.
Three-time Grammy award nominee Bebe Rexha was rushed to the hospital. On Monday, the pop sensation took to Instagram and shared a post of herself. She shared two photos of hers that showed the left side of her face which was bruised around the eyes and had bandages over the left eyebrow. She shared this post with the caption “I am Good.” After the incident, the singer’s mother stated that Bebe had to receive 3 stitches during her treatment.
Talking about the viral video, the singer was seen getting down on her knees on stage after being hurled a cell phone at her. All the staff members were seen rushing to her aid. Due to the incident, the concert had to end early. A meet and greet with fans which was scheduled to happen was got cancelled as well. Her fans and followers were furious over what happened to her. Many Twitter and Instagram users condemned what happened at the concert and send good wishes to Bebe Rexha for her speedy recovery and well-being.
Meanwhile, the attacker was also arrested by Police. According to sources, he is a 27-year-old man named Nicolas Malvagna, a resident in New Jersey, who threw the cell phone straight at the Bebe Rexha. He has been charged with assault & aggravated harassment and he was released without bail. Bebe Rexha is recently on her Best F’n Night Of My Life tour across the nation.
