The star of the Punjabi industry Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu aka Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead on Sunday.
A well-known Punjabi singer and congress leader, Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead by unidentified people in the broad daylight at Jahawarke village of Mansa district, Punjab. The 28-year-old singer was travelling with his cousin Gurpreet Singh and his friend Gurvinder Singh to the village to visit his aunt, while on the way, the singer was shot dead. While the death of the singer came as a shock to everyone, the reason behind his death will shake you.
A 28-year-old boy who made his name by giving some of the hit songs of the decade is no more alive. Sidhu Moosewala, who entered the industry along with his passion for music has been killed in the broad daylight on the streets of Punjab. Moosewala, who was also a leader of the congress party, was on the list of 424 people, whose security was reduced just a day ago by the Punjab government and this created a doubt in the minds of people and took a political angle. On the other hand, right after Moosewala was shot dead, two posts were being circulated on the internet which created a buzz as they allegedly belonged to the Lawrence Bishnoi Group and Goldy Brar, who allegedly have taken the responsibility for the murder of the Punjabi singer.
On the other hand, according to the latest reports, the singer’s father Balkaur Singh has filed an FIR under charges of murder and arms act. According to Balkaur Singh, his son was constantly receiving threat calls from gangster groups for a while now, soon after which, he was killed in the brutal incident. The groups mentioned by Moosewala’s father, who were threatening the singer also included the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which has claimed the responsibility for the murder. Even after the reduction in the security of Moosewala, he still had a bulletproof SUV and two security guards who he did not take along while stepping out despite all the threats he was getting.
Lawrence Bishnoi’s group claimed that they’ve killed Moosewala in retaliation for Vicky Middukhera’s murder.
According to the FIR filed by the police, the father of the singer has stated that Sidhu Moosewala left the house on Sunday evening with his cousin and friend in his Thar and not the bulletproof SUV Fortuner that he owned and usually uses. Noticing this, his father and the two gunmen followed Sidhu in another car. While on the way, they noticed that a Corolla followed the Thar and had four armed men inside the car. Another SUV (Bolero) was also parked near about. The Bolero also had four people in them and the young men started firing the bullets as soon as the thar approached. Sidhu Moosewala was rushed to the hospital immediately as he was bleeding heavily, but the doctors declared him brought dead. The family of Moosewala has denied the post-mortem of the body.

However, the murder of Moosewala appears to be in retaliation for Vicky Middukhera’s murder by the Bishnoi group. The lead gangster of the group is currently in Tihar jail and is suspected to have worked the murder from there only.
