There was a time when people were not only obsessed with the film but also with its songs whether it was a title song or romantic song. Composed by Pritam Dhoom Machale was sung by Sunidhi Chauhan which is still considered one of her finest works.
Bheege Hont Tere (Murder)
Bollywood Music’s sensuality is perfectly exemplified by this song from the film ‘Murder’. Anu Malik wrote the song, while Kunal Ganjawala sang it. The words nicely fit the sensuous cadence of the slow, romantic music. With the lyrics rifling with passion and longing, this music is ideal for a special night in. It is the song without which we cannot talk about Kunal Ganjawala’s career that gave an overnight success.
Yuh Hi Chala Chal (Swades)
Ashutosh Gowariker’s Swades brought a refreshing tale of a US-returned scientist Mohan Bhargav and his efforts towards reforming his native village. The film wouldn’t be complete without the dynamic range of Narayan and his ability to match SRK’s never-seen-before character with his voice especially its travel song Yun Hi Chala Chal, which was also sung by Kailash Kher and Hariharan. Narayan strikes the right chord throughout the film. The beautiful lyrics were written by Javed Akhtar and composed by A.R. Rahman.
Dil Dooba (Khakee)
There was a time when this song Dil Dooba was trending on social media. Dil Dooba featuring Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is a fun song that cannot be replaced by any other song. The song was sung by a versatile singers Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal.
Tumse Milke Dil Ka Haal (Main Hoon Na)
Main Hoon Na was one of the top-grossing films of 2004 not just because of the actors present in the movie but also because of the songs composed in the film. One of those songs ki Tumse Milke was sung by Sonu Nigam, Ravi Khote, Hashim Sabri, and Altaf Sabri. The song was written by Javed Akhtar and was composed by Anu Malik for which Malik also won his second Filmfare Award for Best Music Director after Baazigar.
